Seoul UNITED
Small group? No group? No problem!
Seoul UNITED is an open group made up of English-speaking small groups (youth and their chaperones, including families) from around the world, and small groups or individual young adults ages 18-35. The UNITED group experiences the week of World Youth Day and two day trips together.
Pilgrims reserve their own flights. Your JMJyouth WYD Guide meets you at the airport upon arrival, and escorts the group to your hotel. Read on for more information, then fill out the form at the bottom of the page to have pricing and package details sent to your email. |

Visas to enter South Korea
US nationals do not need a visa to visit South Korea. However, they must either have an approved K-ETA or queue at the border to complete an arrival card to enter the country.
The K-ETA visa waiver for American citizens is quick and easy to get online. It avoids having to go through the lengthier application process for a Korean visa at a diplomatic mission or waste time waiting in line to get entry authorization on arrival.
Americans with a K-ETA can visit South Korea for a maximum of 90 consecutive days without a visa.
Pilgrims from other countries may need a visa and must check with the South Korean Embassy in their country of origin.
JMJyouth cannot assist pilgrims with acquiring visas to enter South Korea. All pilgrims will receive a letter confirming their WYD registration about 3 months prior to the event (spring 2027). This letter should be included in your visa application. However, WYD registration does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. Visa decisions are typically made after the refund deadline has passed. This means that JMJyouth, unfortunately, is not able to provide refunds to pilgrims whose visa applications are rejected.
