LISBON CORPS
Small group? No group? No problem!
"Lisbon Corps" is an open group made up of English-speaking small groups (youth and their chaperones, including families) from around the world. The Lisbon Corps group experiences the week of World Youth Day and two day trips together. Young adult individuals and groups are invited to join Lisbon UNITED.
Pilgrims reserve their own flights to Lisbon. Your JMJyouth WYD Guide meets you at the airport upon arrival, and escorts the group to your hotel. Read on for more information, then fill out the form at the bottom of the page to have pricing and package details sent to your email. |

Visas to enter Portugal
Pilgrims from the U.S., Canada, Australia, Great Britain, and the E.U. may enter Portugal using their passports; a visa is not required.
Pilgrims from other countries may need a visa to enter Portugal. The official source for information on visa requirements is your local Portuguese embassy or consulate. For unofficial information about visa requirements, click here.
JMJyouth cannot assist pilgrims with acquiring visas to enter Portugal. All pilgrims will receive a letter confirming their WYD registration about 3 months prior to the event (April 2023). This letter should be included in your visa application. However, WYD registration does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. Visa decisions are typically made after the refund deadline has passed. This means that JMJyouth, unfortunately, is not able to provide refunds to pilgrims whose visa applications are rejected.
